Funny how you all cried when a greedy misanthropist who sold shiny toys made in sweatshops died (someone with questionable "inventorship" over anything). Two tribute threads if I recall? Yet Dr. Ritchie pathed the way to success for every tech company out there and none of you sons-of-bitches blinked an eyelid when he passed on a couple days ago.

 

R.I.P. Dennis Ritchie 1941-2011.
