Future garage is the worst name for a genre ever ever ever

Can't say I disagree with you there. Guess part of the reason I started this thread was to gage people's thoughts on whether we can warrant a legit sidestep away from all this bro-step nonsense or just agree that we like the "atmospheric/deep" variety and be happy with that

Yeah I like the tunes, though the whole emotional bendy chord skippy two step thing is getting a bit formulaic now if you know what I mean

Out of the sort of newer electronic musics, I enjoy this style the best.

I didn't mind one of the clips (yeah i listened to them all). Overused the melody what whatever, some people have longer attention spans i guess.

Love the music, not too big on the name. Thing is, calling it dubstep isn't the best choice either.

Worst sub-sub-genre name ever. In a few years time, we will retrospectively be looking back on the future garage scene and jizzing over the up-and-coming nu-tech-jazz-step-core scene.

All these genre names being thrown around is making me go "¯\_(ツ)_/¯" in conversations now.

Last night I was talking with some friends and some of them were throwing around names like 2 step, garage, chillwave, psychowave(?)... I threw up my hands and said "I'm out!"

well you should know what 2step and garage are. Cause it's two ways of saying the same thing. heh.
