it's neat, and very futuristic, but probably not "the future", for the simple fact that the quality will always be limited by having to find a good surface, and frankly, arms aren't really great surfaces (it means using both arms to do anything, unlike a phone you can mostly operate with just one hand... i also see problems if you're wearing a long-sleeve shirt...).

Cool enough, but I'll be really excited when I see a projected user interface like this hanging in mid-air in true Mass Effect style. Although I have no idea how that would even be possible.
