The sounds are definitely cool but I think for the novelty aspect which is essentially what you'd be buying into I wouldn't want to spend more than £150 on it. Alesis could surely make a machine like this in the vein of the SR-16 and sell it for £100-150.

I think it looks pretty rad. Of course it's not going to be the workhorse, but having that in a discrete box will be really cool for some people.

Hmm, sounds like fun, but if you're gonna use hardware, a gameboy with nanoloop could make almost the same sounds.. and give you more chip cred.
