been digging afro-funk a lot lately, so much good stuff...

Fela is probably the most criminally underrated musical mastermind of this century, and I don't say that lightly. It's a shame that only now is there a Broadway musical/mainstream appeal to his music.

I remember Theo of all people introduced me to Fela Kuti..respect for that.

I want to get my hands on a decent biography, but all of the ones at amazon are insanely expensive.
