Gyrosynth for Ipod Touch/Iphone 4th Gen

Sucks that I can use it 'cause I only got a 3rd gen Ipod Touch. May consider upgrading just to get this as it looks like so much fun!!

Couldn't the same type of effect be done much easier than waving an iPhone around? Seems like a novelty to me.

I don't think so there's a uniqueness to it the way the pitch is kinda constant with like extreme portamento if that makes sense. Surely you need a theremin to get that kinda sound. I mean come on guys for 69p that's better than buying a can a coke - right?
