I wasn't behind why this date should be special. I generally discount these things if they abbreviate the year (2011 becomes 11) because I really see it as 11/11/2011, so it's not that crazy to me.

But I just read that this is the last palindromic date for a century...

To be fair, it WAS quite a strange day. Some people I hadn't seen in 15 years showed up, some dude apologized for something he did 10 years ago, full moon night, odd dreams ...

I was immersed in sound at a noise show in someone's basement when 11:11/11/11/11 happened. Best 11/11/11 of my life.
