Live Jam slightly edited

Hey

Recently I have been editing older material into new sequences. This is mostly a live jam, especially the rhythm is live. Synths have been added later. I wonder what you think. I am mostly trying to make more dynamic tracks while keeping the hypnotic vibe I mostly like to produce in my pieces.

Most of my tracks are really intuitive, that's why they often differ from each other and sound like jams. They mostly are jams with programmed synths like the FM8. I barely use samples, and if I do, I use my own FM8 sounds or my own mic recordings.

This track is FM8 based only, no mic usage.

Usually I got stuck in a certain loop while jamming because of the hypnotic aspect those loops had on me.

Another reason for these constant recurrent sounds is that in the past I mostly was worried about the quality of the sound, but lately I came to the conclusion that in doing so, I lose the dynamic aspect I can obtain by just jamming.

I am avoiding constant repetitive loops that don't alter and I hope this 'track' and my former 2 jams, or even my work towards this 'revelation' confirm this.

Enjoy

yo ex-voto aint no dupe of mine even though he seems to be using some fucked up FM accordeon on this one. i like the discordant sounding synth stuff here, neat FM/granular stuff especially the last part. like jonas, i'd like to hear some more dynamics, & also more interesting rhythms.
