I think it would be polite of him to just stuff ten different cover art images into the next album he puts out and call it quits. He's been recycling this music for over two decades already..

Yeah... I have deeply loved Steve Roach's music down the years, but now I'm hearing the same atmospheres, beats, drones and sounds crop up over and over again.

Sadly, i feel the exact same way.

I got myself the complete edition of Quiet Music because it is one of my favorite ambient records ever and loved the idea of having the whole thing.

But i share this thoughts that Roach is constantly recycling his own sound, which goes back to the 80's, and there is no clear sign of innovation or whatsoever. I don't think he is just making money out of it, but maybe he just doesn't care and keeps putting out the music while he is producing it.

I am not thrilled with Roachs new releases anymore, but it is always a pleasure to go back and listen to Quiet Music or Dreamtime Return.

Personally I think Roach is consistently good and he must have one of the best and most mind opening discographies in Electronic/Ambient music, and at least you don`t have to wait 2/3 years or whatever for a new album/bit of music.
