Funny you should post this, I watched the BluRay a few weeks ago and felt chuffed spotting Atom Heart Mother and Magical Mystery Tour for the first time.

I'm surprised, considering how meticulous Kubrick was about many elements, that he didn't have mock-ups made of fictitious bands. It would have been better, although few would have noticed. Ridley Scott went to the trouble of having fake magazines made for Blade Runner. Still, ACO remains a real favourite of mine since I saw it as a kiddo at the cinema.

I agree that's what you'd have usually expected, but as I understand it A Clockwork Orange was a fairly low-budget film by his standards. Plus as the bloke says in his blog (I think it was there), it is fascinating to see this little snapshot of the 70s. And don't forget this is where Heaven 17 got their name from. Nice to see a return visit from The Thatch itt, by the way.

nice to see the Fahey record in there.

through the years, a man peoples a space with images of provinces, kingdoms, mountains, bays, ships, islands, fishes, rooms, tools, stars, horses and people. shortly before his death, he discovers that the patient labyrinth of lines traces the image of his own face.
