Hm, what does Moore think about it? I'd assume he doesn't have any input or control. If he had wanted more backstory about the Watchmen in their young days then he would have written it originally.

I was open to the idea of a prequel series at first, but after thinking about it for more than 30 seconds, fuck this shit.

To one side I'm actually more opened to the idea of a prequel because that means they could imagine something out of the Watchmen, make something new and original (because I think The Watchmen movie was irrelevant as it just copied the graphic novel, getting rid of all the charm of it).

But I know they won't as it's just (surprise !) a matter of money. Fuck it. This is even more disgusting with the Watchmen because the comic book carried a strong and deep political view, and it's now turned into a commercial superficial juicy licence. Fuck Zack Snyder also. His last movie was one of the most shitty thing I never saw. Pure superficiality. No characters, no story. Just aesthetic nonsense.

I kinda liked the first Watchmen, I thought they were entertaining. It's trendy that today they make sequels and prequels and stuff and maybe this one can be good.

I'll wait until some of you guys had seen it, commented on it and then maybe see it myself ^_^

No, the names of the comic artists and writers being talked about are pretty reputable. Snyder made the shitty film adaptation of Watchmen. Tangent.

Someone should get Grant Morrison to write that.

This will only be wirth it if they pull an Alan Moore off and recontextualize all the characters and shit, like in league of extraordinary gentlemen. Won't happen tho.

league of extraordinary gentlemen was terrible though.

And i wanted it to be good so badly. It had so many possibly cool elements.

Until I see it on the shelves, then I'll give my opinion about it. This product is like two fucking years away, just chill the fuck up bitches.
