Homeland.. is Watmm sleeping on this quality show?

My roommate was telling me about it a while back, I've been meaning to get to it sound interesting

ive been following it, best new show on tv atm.

It's quite good. I've never liked Claire Danes, but she's def doing a good job in Homeland. It's strange how I rearly find American films I like these days, but at the same time there are so many american quality series that I don't have the time for them all. I finished Sons of Anarchy season 3 yesterday. I can't decide if I'm gonna start watching Boardwalk Empire, Treme or Breaking Bad.

I've been watching it on the advice of Watmm, its v good proper hooked.

claire danes is incredibly convincing as an unhinged, bi-polar agent. like the fact that she isnt always manic or crazy, can be totally coherent for a long period of time, its a better way to portray people like this, they usually just show you being crazy all day every day which is inaccurate.

also, fuck yeah damian lewis, this guy always nails military parts, think he was born for it.

one of my favourite shows atm.

Is this a one-season show? It's starting up on a channel here but I'm sick of shows that keep going until they jump the shark and then get canceled

Just started Breaking Bad a couple days ago, I've been hooked and keep marathoning it. Kind of strange how light/GTA cut-scene it can be, and then it gets all aronofsky and wtf I don't wanna cry.

good show. I like the realistic representation of mental illness on the part of carrie.

Rubicon is a much better show than this, and i haven't even seen a full episode of it

i just have a bug up my ass about any post 9/11 fictional anything that represents terrorism. I do still watch them though in the same way i watch Fox News.

edit: shows like Homeland, 24 (less so, but still has some redeeming moments) and Rubicon to me all rise above generic displays of it (which is undeniably what Sleeper Cell was ) Homeland has a really good cast, i don't think it's writing is as strong as Rubicon. It's too bad Rubicon got cancelled so early

Rubicon being cancelled was a fucking travesty.

watched this over the last week, it's not too bad. not sure where season 2 is supposed to go, it seems like they used up all the action movie tension in e12.
