Staircase sounds pretty good, but god damn... I can't stand watching Radiohead perform live.

yea im curious about the studio staircase because i adore the basement one. i can not imagine it is better than that.

it's being released same time as the basement DVD/blu release. expecting it's just the live recorded basement versions and not studio versions (although i'd love to be wrong!:))

So apparently this will be the From The Basement recordings, only Staircase has a new vocal track from Thom. It's recorded in a studio, yeah, but it's not the "studio" version people might expect.

I already paid for the DVD, so... yoink.
