Guest Promo
Alright guys my sister has an Alesis Performance Pad and I want to get her something so she can control the kick drum. The pro route will cost about £70 but then I'm wondering whether a decent sustain pedal would do the job? This is the one I'm looking at. Thoughts welcome. Cheers. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Yamaha-FC5MM-FC5-Sustain-Pedal/dp/B00005ML71/ref=sr_1_1?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1324058397&sr=1-1 Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/70555-using-a-sustain-pedal-for-kick-pad/ Share on other sites

Guest Wall Bird
On the other hand, it does work a little better as a hi-hat pedal, especially the piano-style ones that have a harder spring.
