Any programmers familiar with vstsdk?

How would I go about building a vst from source code?

There is a couple things I would like to try and do with the Hexter source like making the effects OFF by default and lower the number of voices by default. I figure that part would be easier than the building the .dll part.

Nevermind. I had someone take a look and this source code was compiled on old stuff that renders it fairly incompatible with modern compilers.
