yeah not feeling it entirely either at the end of the beat driven stuff. and I need to work on the transition into the ambient stuff.. the start was going great and then I landed at a dead end. I want to do a freezing ambient piece but am doubting I have it flowing well. have some more ambient gems derived from the track though so I might end up using even more of those.

anyway, more criticism welcome!

I don't get why you would want to turn a beat driven tune into an ambient track? You should split it into two tracks instead and make one ambient and one beat driven.

I don't know I guess I want to make it work somehow, it's the general backwardness of the act and such? ;)

I think the transition comes to early on right now, work the beat section out some more, make that one track and use the current ambiance as outro... have the derived ambient gem as a next track?

Exactly. The transition itself works, but it sounds like you have two subsequent yet separate tracks.

hear you both, working on it now.. had it lying around a bit doing something else, so it sounds nice and fresh again.
