I know two totally different genres, but I'm looking for bands that combine the two or play/has played both genres at some point in their careers

This genre is right up my alley. I've seen all these bands multiple times, they are actively touring(cept spacemen 3). All of them fucking bad ass. The Black Angels have been my favorite band for the last 4ish years.

Acid Mothers Temple is always psychedelic but some of their stuff goes from being really heavy and out there to more "straightforward" rock. Great distortion all the time though.
