nice game mechanic, if it was a little more forgiving (instead of being intentionally frustrating) a game like this would probably sell pretty well on ios/android.

hm. i think this is actually a problem with iOS/Android as platforms - gotta make games for idiots to be really successful, or be very lucky.

As for PoleRiders, it's probably not as good as QWOP imo, maybe because the point of it (awkward controls) is not as clearly... pointed out... as in QWOP..

i like the music.

The pole wobbles around too much in his hands so it takes quite a bit of time to get it to stabilize then run and jump. Plus you lack the ability to walk over objects.

 

Like that little knob thing on top of the house. I got up on the house once but it wouldn't let me walk over the knob.

That's how I did it too, but sometimes the pole would flip around too fast, bounce off the house, and send me back in the direction I came from. It seemed to happen at random, too.
