Sound Pack-Reaktor Patches-Bonus Images download

Recommended Posts

Hello!!

Thought it might be kinda fun to compile a bunch of things I've been busy with through the year and bundle them together as a free download for people.

Contained within are about 150 sounds, ranging from ambient drones and atmospheres to glitch percussion hits and synth patches. All sorts of sounds really. I've tried to put some information about where they've come from but it would be too long winded to go into great depth, but I'm happy to answer any questions should anyone have any. Just drop me a message.

There are a few little Reaktor patches I've put together too. A couple simple toy noise makers, a heavily modified 303 type synth and sequencer, multi effects patch with loads of modulation options, and some other things as well.

Finally there is a collection of images from a new AV project I've been working on. Effectively algorithmically generated images and video which will all be tied in with the audio part of my live setup (once I get a second laptop to run it smoothly!) Nothing extremely special as such, but thought maybe it'd be of interest to some folks.

Anyway its up on megaupload at the moment (since the ftp was being a wanker all day) so it'll only be available for 21 days. By that point, hopefully i'll have it hosted somewhere more permanent.

Anyways, here some links:

Mac (.zip file):

www.megaupload.com/?d=MLKL8LYA

Windows (.rar file)

www.megaupload.com/?d=4AVR3PSF

Hope you all enjoy em, please let me know if you have any issues with the downloads, or indeed the content!

ps, file size is approx 200mb for the rar and 300mb for the zip. Once extracted the folder is approx 700mb, just so you know.

Whoop.. sorry, I forgot to check back here. Glad you're all getting along with em! Sorry for being slow to reply Sneaksta. Was thinking I should have made loading samples into Wall E a bit easier, it is pretty straight forwards though.

Step 1, click on the small icon in the bottom left hand corner of Reaktor, the one that resembles a wave form. This will open up the sample map editor. At the moment it will probably look empty as there is no sampler currently selected.

Step 2, right click on the drop down menu on the Wall E interface labeled "select", then click "show in structure". This will take you into the structure of the patch. You should see a large module on the right called "resynth". This is the sampler module.

Step 3, click on the "resynth" to select it. The sample map editor will snap to display all the samples loaded inside it. 3 in total. Because of the way the instrument is designed, it's best to replace on of the included sounds rather than add more to the sample map. To replace a sound, click on it once to select it, then open the drop down menu called "edit" and choose "replace"

Step 4, once you've loaded your sound you can navigate back to the main interface by double clicking on the structure background. Just keep doing it till you're all the way back. To close the sample map editor, just click the small wave form icon again

Hope this helps, if it's still not making sense let me know and I'll stick up some screen shots.
