Still getting frustrated at the imprecision of my production, for some reason i cannot get the bass drops to get that intense sense of anticipation and resolution

I like it. Could easily be shorter though. Maybe sidechain the kick to make it more dynamic

i like this! production sounds OK to me - nice and up front and punchy... but i think with your percussion it might just all be a bit too loud - like there's a lot of low end in this track, with the kick booming away and the bassline etc and i think it does get a bit muddy and when you drop the kick it kind of gets a bit lost. maybe try turning everything right down, take off all the compression etc and just listen to the kick track on it's own for a bit, get that sounding shit hot and then redo all the levels from there

but it's not a major problem or anything, track still sounds good...

As mentioned, it comes off as quite muddy, but I sort of like that. I also like the pads at around 5.10+, yet I don't quite like that they're changing so much.

and I'm not digging that click hi-hat.

But I like the track as a whole. Reminds me a bit of some Gas work.
