Doubt too many people will care, but I couldn't not post about it.

Colour me excited

I love Xiu Xiu, but I do feel like they peaked a while ago (with The Air Force). I can't say I'm too excited from that single anyway.

I was pleasantly surprised by it. It's easily the poppiest song they have ever done but they've been meandering towards pop for a while.

I think their pinnacle was Women as Lovers.

At least, so far.

I need to catch up with Xiu Xiu. It's been a while.

xiu xiu's last good album was fabulous muscles.

knife play was an incredibly compelling album and

nothing he released afterwards could quite capture it's spirit

although a promise did come close.
