I should have been more clear. I was more disputing the UK part of it. Machinedrum is american as is footwork (juke is the term for footwork made in chicago).

Well I hate genres. What I wanted to say with "UK juke" is something in the vein of "juke" like original in Chicago, but mixed with current "UK Bass" music influences, whatever that wants to say. Anyway what I wanted to say is that I prefer Machinedrum's style of juke-music more than the original juke from Chicago. Was that better? I hope so.

I think its fair to say that Travis has paid homage to UK bass (its history including jungle etc) in room(s) and indeed with his work with Om unit.

How are you going about it? I'm using firefox, and just clicking the green download arrow starts a direct download.
