I remember watching a 60 minutes or some similar investigative report show on underground self-amputation rings and black market amputated limb trading and selling. In 9th grade one of my classmates did a report on Trepination and she showed authentic VHS of jungle people doing it to a friend with a stone hatchet with their head over a bucket to collect the blood and then western people doing self-trpepination with a drill hanging from the ceiling while looking at a mirror in the bathroom. It was the first time I literally got sick and queezy from watching something on a TV screen.
