I have the two CDs she previously released on Touch before. I really enjoyed the first (which was more an EP) and the album as well but she has a special sound which isn't comfortable at all. I tested the reaction by playing the album in public on concerts at the bar and it's really noisy at some times. For god sake Jana isn't the person who make fieldrecordings in a classical sense (I've heard too many whale sounds, flute-like wind choruses and the sound of nature unprocessed).

 

I share opinion with Asmus Tietchens who also wrote that today fieldrecording isn't special anymore. Winderen is the first who taught me that this is sometimes the false opinion.
