jules
Quote Rainy days aren't always bad. New York photographer Ira Fox takes advantage of the puddles that form around the city by snapping shots of the mirrored images that appear in them. In his Reflections series, Fox captures alternate universes in the tiny pools of water where anonymous pedestrians and cyclists roam about their water-splattered world. Adding to the interesting aesthetic, in some of his shots, the photographer twists our minds into believing in an upside-down reality. The mirror effect juxtaposes the shiny, light-absorbing reflections with the gritty, inverted landscape and subjects.
