Mass Effect 3

I'm so excited about this. Mass Effect 2 was probably the best game I've ever played. And ME3 looks like it's going to top that.

I'd only seen the trailer at the top - this looks like a day one purchase for me!

I'm just afraid it'll end up being Gears of Mass Effect.

Excited, hopefully NVIDIA will have sorted out their driver problems by then.

Hopefully the gameplay/combat improves as much as it did from ME1 to ME2.

I still haven't bothered to try these games. Figured I'd just miss out as I can't be arsed to sink time into two games first... But that's a pretty impressive endorsement.

First of all the new roll move looks awkward.

Second of all, why would they make Clint Mansell make the music since the music already awesome?

To make it even more awesome.

ME2 had cover issues. Regardless of how awkward something looks, I hope I can actually fight someone who sneaks up behind me while i'm in cover.

Also I hope my female Shep can have smecks with Mordin.

both of the games were stupendously overhyped and feature very little actual gameplay, me2 had an awfully shallow combat too, but then you get lots of lens flare and drama. with that said i'll pirate it anyway, it was somewhat entertaining.

that last trailer looks exactly like it plays EXACTLY like gears of war.

mass effect was one of my most favourite rpg's ever, i've tried playing mass effect 2 twice now, both times i reached about halfway through the game before i got tired of it, not sure why, since i really loved the first game. i should probably try and finish it before 3 though.

I hate the fact that the soundtrack is going to be orchestral music instead of awesome retro synth sci-fi music like the first game.

This is true. I really liked the first games music. The soundtrack to Tron Legacy reminded me a lot of ME's music.

I like that arp melody when you are on the normandy in ME1 right before the first mission, but I was displeased to realize it wasen't on the sound track.

ME2 definitely was a great game, but best game ever?

im still looking towards the old JRPG where you had huge open areas...ME's planets, while varied and plentiful still seemed waaaay too restrictive and streamlined.

the release date is still pretty far off... 2012, that's like two year.. oh.
