discovered this by accident. it was playing at a cafe. the horns sounded really good, but i had no idea what it was. thankfully, the year is 2012, and i just asked my phone...

 

supposedly it was rated the second best album of 2011 by pitchfork... so i'm guessing some of you have heard it. if not, check it out, it's pretty good.

 

i'm not especially great at naming similar bands, but if you like arcade fire, i'm guessing you'd like this.
