the way he's rhyming all the official acronyms together more than a little bit reminds me of the chorus

i knew that kraftwerk track, but hadn't made the connection! i still wouldn't call it an overt hommage, but the kraftwerk influence sure is there in all of alva noto's works. i reall y like this track in its own right, it sounds a bit obvious at first listen, but gets really hypnotic after a while. the same goes for the video. watching this right after a spliff i got a bit disorientated... on univrs nicolai seems to get a lot more 'viby' than on unitxt, it sounds a lot deeper altogether, darker too. good album!

when i see videos like this past 1991 of kraftwerk doing this it just makes me kinda sad for what they could have been after Computer world if they kept trying hard

it would also have been nice to see some innovative rivalry with Jean Michel Jarre as he was king of electronic music in the mid-late 80's almost by default which gave him an ego as big as his concerts and let him get away with some really well polished pap
