i might be making a fool of myself

i dunno. i listened to this a while after having made it and thought it sounded incredibly bad, but now i feel it might have some potential. please, PLEASE tell me if you think pursuing this song is a bad idea. i'm a pretty big fan of the knife and doing a shitty cover of one of their songs would feel like taking a shit on a delicious meal or something.

obviously it's not a final song in any way. i'll have to redo the singing, for one, since it was recorded with a shitty headset mic (my other sound card's driver was acting up) and is pretty off key at times. and just.. add a ton of shit. this is very barebones.

It has some good elements imo. I like the melancholic sound to the song (which I think is manifested most strongly in the beat and the opening tune). But I have to say that it is not very exciting as a whole.

you mean my version or the song as it's written? my version might need some drive during the first verse
