Battles - Dross Glopp

i am not a huge fan of total remix albums but i wonder who else will contribute. the field always has my attention

Battles will be launching a series of 12″ remix singles of material from their 2011 effort, “Gloss Drop“. The series will carry the title of “Dross Glop” and volume 1 of it will land in stores on February 07th through Warp Records. It will feature the following track listing:

Could be interesting. I thought Gloss was pretty good despite tyondais absence. I enjoyed Futura the most probably, although I haven't listened to the other songs more then maybe once or twice.

Gloss Drop was probably my favorite album last year so I'm very looking forward to these remixes - hope they'll be released on some final CD/Vinyl comp as well...

Gloss Drop was awesome, but I can't say I'm really looking forward to the remixes... i listened to a short sample of the Sweetie & Shag remix and it sounded pretty blah. Should probably hear the whole thing though...

Not completely sold on the first record, maybe needs a few more listens.

I don't really like the Shabazz Palaces' Remix but interested in Africastle and Futura remixes (two of my favorite tracks off the album...Wonder what Kode9 made with the beast that Africastle is !!!)

Kode9's is probably going to be months late due to outside issues out of his control
