First impression is the track is very long. Melodically it has that cutesy vibe going on which I must say I'm not a massive fan of but that's a personal thing and that's not to say its bad. My suggestion would be to add more layers or better still the addition of a chord sequence to kinda give the whole tune more resonance. I like what you did at around 4 mins with the synths maybe try and bring that in early on. I think the drums need to come to front a lot more as I found them a bit kinda quiet and lacking punch in the mix. I think try and get a bit more tension in there too. I think in essence shortening the track down to 3/4 mins would help. Oh and make sure you add chords that'll really give the track a lot more meat. Other than that yeah I can certainly hear the potential. Hope that helps. :-)
