If you could live through any point in History?

If you could just go back and live through a decade or two, as your current day self, which bit of history would you back to?

can we go forward in time too?

^ yeah... it would have to be now, for me... and the next 20-30 years...

well, if we can go forward in time, any point where i can become a cyborg and assimilate my consciousness with the internet.

i'd go back to 1998 and start watmm so we could have a nice asses thread.

nah, i'd go back to the 60s/70s so i could see sabbath, zeppelin, zappa, miles, beatles, etc

then i'd go back t high school and bang more chicks than i did and i would pay more attention in college so when i finally got to today, i wouldn't be a miserable creative director whose only plan was to win the lottery.

1896 to 1906 I would slowly and carefully befriend Susan B Anthony in her final years and convince her to let me ghost write her memoirs, then I would bury them in a secret place and find them again in the future so I could sell them for a billion dollars at an Auction.

late 70s/early 80s, Australian music scene in Melbourne. Early gigs for Models, Mondo Rock, INXS, Australian Crawl etc would have been awesome!

Middle of the Jurassic. It would suck not to get laid and to constantly fear for my life, but the views would be incredible. Otherwise, I wish I could travel the world with Darwin and others of the like.

INXS were awesome. Especially their first two albums.

I dunno...depending on who you supported the Haitian Revolution would have had a lot of sweet sweet vengeance on whitey.

The idealist in me wants to live in the 1780s at the tail end of the American Revolution,....because it would have been nice to live in an age where people at least on the surface profoundly believed in that shit.

But for the pure poshness and style, 1920s. Those hats, silent films, early jazz, virulent anti-war movement in America. Good times...except for the collapse of unionism.

I don't really think his whole life needs to be reduced to bellendhood because of a pathetic and rather sad end. That's just compounding the sad.
