JJ's a talented producer too, hope this lives up to it's potential!

Check out his dr who dat and shape of broad minds projects - he's a lot like madlib in that he produces/plays/mcs, albeit with his own unique vibe.

Jneiro Jarel's Three Piece Puzzle is a very good hip-hop album. I've been meaning to check out some of his other productions for a few years but never get around to it. I'm looking forward to this.

Every single release Jneiro Jarel's put out since 2004 is golden.

cool, tho what the fuck happened to the madvillain album!?

DOOM is no longer a citizen of America, makes the Madvillain collab now pretty hard now.

madlib should take a crate of records on a plane

and produce the rest of the album with only those records

So… is this album good? I tried to listen today at work and found the stream moderately non-compelling?!?!

I love Dr Who Dat though.

This was kind of a let down for me, espeically being that Jneiro Jarel has produced some of my favorite hiphop centered albums, like Fauna, Shape of Broad minds, Beat Journey, etc. and DOOM being one of my favorite emcee's... I have given it at least 6 listens and still not 100% feeling it, well spare for the Winter Blues track. I do appreciate it though.

First listen, a couple of really catchy tracks, couple of surprisingly sloppy ones, rest haven't left a firm impression yet, will have to listen more
