Anyone a stats master?

Anyone here in WATMM a stats master?

Having problems understanding the application of chebyshevs equioscillation theorem... =/

just of curiosity, why are you looking into this stuff? I ask because a precursory look at the wikipedia articles reminds of how this idea is basically implemented in creating equiripple filters for dsp applications. not that i remember much of the details anymore, it's been a long time since my dsp courses

No worries.

I am using it for a business course, management science. Currently just applying it to my homework however I'm making some sidenotes....

All of these equations in regards to interval and ordinal data will certainly be useful when I apply it in the manner you're thinking... ;)
