yeah obviously aphex, but where does it say that on the album? did he collab with him on a track or is it just a shout out?

Yeah i figured it was him but i didn't know why he used Pritchard D Jams as opposed to his real name?

he does silly name things sometimes, like i'm almost positive he's dj'd as prichard or some other made up name

anyone here knows the tv series the young ones? there's a guy called rick and in one scene, someone says that ricks name would be spelled "with a silent p". when you see the young ones (it was on bbc in the 80's, when aphex was a teenager), you will know that aphex MUST have seen and loved it.

rick is short for richard

Just a guess but it might be something to do with Welsh names. Welsh used to put 'ap' at the beginning of names, meaning 'son of'. Gradually it was phased out. Some people continued using a 'p' at the start of the name but now it's dropped by most.

Or I might just be talking codshit (not about the ap bit though, that's true)
