I wonder why the departure from planet mu?

 

The description makes it sound like an ambient cd... =(

I thought powerpoints was a brilliant album, wish he'd release more like that.

He's been releasing stuff in multiple places under a few names now. Wiggy Gonk, Meatman (both on Gasman Music, though the Meatman stuff isn't out yet), and a couple of EPs under his normal "The Gasman" on web labels (such as Polymerase).

Me too. His piano jigs are always really nice though, as seen on Powerpoints.

Agreed.

I think powerpoints was a really strong album. Dynamically (mastering, sonics etc) I believe it is his best. Some incredible songs on there.

Wow, this album is wild ! The CD arrived today and it contains nothing but the absurd chord progressions and arpeggios on piano (and light orchestration) that I so love Chris for. I can imagine this really dividing fans especially those wanting his more electronic 'ravier' stuff, but I can already say that this is my favourite album of his to date.

It's a nice album. I definitely prefer his ravier stuff, but I can dig a lot of the tunes on Hiding Place. Terminus is probably my favourite track, but then I've only given it one proper listen, so that will undoubtedly change

I got a (yousendit I think) link a few days after the CD arrived - maybe check your spam folder, it may have fallen in there.
