The Parks Canada Logo is... interesting.

It's supposed to be a beaver, which they refined for their 100th anniversary:

Makes sense. Parks Canada hasn't designated any new parkland in the better part of a decade, but a few months back they did mark off a large cubic area in Northern Ontario which has been described by some as "a black void of nothingness that leads men to their doom via speculative madness"

Shaddup, troll. This was posted on CBC Music on 28th Feb 2012. And, most inspirations pointed out were from the NFBOC, not Parks Canada.

I'm not trolling, I've seen this video before you posted it here, and it was definitely before last year too.

I can't remember whether I saw it here, or on that cultish forum, but I've definitely seen it before.

edit: apologies for calling jazz. it wasn't here on watmm that i saw it, but it was indeed on the other place and is a different video but with the same music.

has a certain ghostboxiness to it as well.

It's jazz because another site online posted it?

I think he apologized for calling it jazz, and took it back.

In conclusion, be nice Joyrex. :flower:

C'mon - he goes around starting controversy - I post something genuinely interesting for discussion (and perhaps not everyone as internet-worldly as Oscillik is) that some might not know about, and here we are, discussing whether this has been posted or not (and it wasn't, considering he claims it was "a different video but with the same music" - how is it jazz if it's different?

AND, if anyone bothered to actually READ, that tune is used on ALL the Parks Canada adverts - the point of this post is a CBC Music blogger thinks that Parks Canada might have been the influence for BoC as well as the NFBoC. Sheesh.

Yes, because I always ban anyone who disagrees with me.

If that were true, WATMM would have three members: me, myself, and I :emotawesomepm9:

Yet again, I'm 'called out' for doing things that other members do all the time and get away with (I could very easily and instantly name drop here but I'm not going to stoop that low).

I guess my face doesn't fit.

Time for me to take a self-disciplined break from posting.

It's all in the technique - you could take a less antagonistic approach, and then people wouldn't feel like you're going around trolling threads just to wind people up.

Actually, we usually just call it the NFB. I've never heard anyone refer to the National Film Board as NFBOC.
