VI Scose Poise

Definitely their best blues track.

It reminds me more of Japanese Koto music (erm, whatever genre that is) -

With that and the gamelan sounds of Parhelic Triangle it's definitely their most Eastern sounding album.

I thought that at first too. Now it just sounds like the blues to me, even though it's all pentatonic and doesn't have the "blue note" (not sure if that's the right term) in the scale. Something about the progression and the overall horizontal and vertical structure of it.

Also, Oversteps sounds WAY more Eastern to me, especially known(1) and pt2ph8.

I think the French call the SI Pa-s unit a Poiseuille, but I'm probably not remembering that correctly.
