Yeah it's a great album, This Will Destroy You are great too for some straight up post-rock.

this became some of my favourite post rock in high school. it's pretty brilliant, but i think i listened to it a bit too much:)

There was a Massachusetts post rock band called Sparrows Swarm and Swing that I really used to dig in high school. They're worthy of checking out

sparrows swarm and sing are incredible and highly underrated.

yndi halda are amazing too.

i have a lot of great memories of a lot of "typical" post-rock because it's what me and my friends all found common ground on and used to listen to when he would get stoned in bedrooms and parks and gardens, yndi halda were one of those bands for sure.
