In Paradisum, Monkopf's new label

Seems criminal to me that Mondkopf gets a little overlooked by this forum. What with "Rising Doom" being one of the better albums of last year, and his last few EPs all being beast. Anyway...

Mondkopf just started a label / blog called "In Paradisum", and its pretty cool. Sounds like its specialising in techno stuff influenced by doom metal, industrial and post punk.

I find this musician is full of brilliant ideas, i just feel his execution can come off as.. amateur? sometimes.. dunno

having said that though, this song from Rising Doom definitely hits the sweet spot:

I'm becoming a big Mondkopf fan, but I can see a tiny bit of truth in this.

Just the synth sounds he favours, a little too squeaky and resonant for my taste, like all those synth presets they use for display models in shops.

But like I've said, I'm still a big fan.
