tempo variations really started with and after Stop look listen[1].

hiss/noise breakthrough with/after Latent Quarter[2].

stop look listen is amazing. it definitely feels like a blueprint of things to come.

i feel like they did plenty with noise hiss starting on tri repetae (and used less refined white noise percussion all over amber), are you talking about a specific kind of hiss that wasn't around before envane?
