It honestly just sounds like a random collection of random drum loops and acid-like sounds. needs some structure. But maybe I just don't get it.

He's referring to the plug-in Effectrix.

As said, it sounds way too random. I assume you've used the plug-in Glitch? It's basically the same concept as Effectrix.
