important question

Some time ago somebody on here posted about a biological book with these magnificient illustration of plants and/or animals. Does anybody remember what it was called? I know the illustrations were quite old, if that helps. I want to give it to a biologist friend as a birthday present.

I think there are external links to more on this page, or from Ernst Haeckel's page. Just google around and you'll find several sites that have all of them up. I think I had almost all of them saved on my hard drive at some point but I can't find them anymore :(
