GED Happy Hour

Recommended Posts

I've had this idea kicking around for a while, and I've finally gone ahead and brought it to life.

It's simple: I have created 99 MP3 files of assorted length, totaling 60 minutes of audio. The files consist entirely of silence, with the exception of five disturbing noises. These noises are placed at random points throughout the 60 minutes of audio.

The challenge is to listen to all 99 MP3s, at maximum volume, in a single 60 minute session.

When I tried this earlier, nothing could prepare me for how terrifying it was. It sounds so simple, yet it cannot be underestimated just how powerful a technique it is. The experience lies not so much in the heart-stopping jolts of noise, but the hour-long horror of not knowing when they are going to happen. I found myself staring in one direction, in the same position, too scared to move a muscle.

The MP3s can be downloaded in a RAR archive (12.5MB) here:

Rules:

The challenge must take place under the listener's free will, without coercion. No exceptions.

Listen to all MP3s once, in any order, in a single 60 minute session. Shuffle mode is recommended.

A very high listening volume is crucial. The files must be audible with both ears at all times. The volume may not be altered at any point during listening.

At no point should the listener become aware of which files they are listening to at any time. The filenames of the MP3s have been randomized to make the location of each noise harder to find. Please do not reveal information about the locations of the five noises.

During the 60 minutes, the listener must not have access to clocks, watches, or any other means of measuring time.

It is recommended that listening takes place in a dark room.

Good Luck!

So bottom line, does this make you cum stupid hard or not?

It gives you PTSD. So, no, unless you're into that sort of thing.

No. It's brilliant, but no.

I hate screamers, and this pretty much sounds like an audio screamer.
