good record shops in amsterdam?

I am visiting Amsterdam today. is there a good record shop I should visit? I found some on google maps but I have no idea if they are worth it

I think this is the place I stumbled onto by accident while visiting Amsterdam last summer. Bought some Ceephax.

Awesome record shop. I have spent many afternoons there looking for new records. And then 2001 happened.....Haven't been there in years.

thx a lot I did check rush hour today - its pretty small but they had a recent black dog LP. I will check the others if I find time to go there again this week. I need to find a cheaper parking lot so the one I was at was 5€ / hour. maybe I will go there by train next time

Yeah, rushhour for sure, and the coolest vinyl shop in Amsterdam imo is recordfriend: http://www.recordfriend.com/index.htm - I found lots of braindance rarities and other cool house/techno things.

Also, if you are by car, you could park at the Amsterdam Sloterdijk train station, lots of parking space for I think 5 euro for a day, and you get a free trainticket from there to Amsterdam Central.

awesome tips I will try to go by train tomorrow and visit the other shops I have not been to yet
