Incomplete skyscrapers. They devolve as they go up, they've got crazy heavy machinery, they're atmospheric at night with all the lights, they're really cool in post-apocalypse.

I can imagine the sun rising while sitting on an incomplete skyscraper. IDM as FUCK.

So the most idm thing of 2011 will be something that doesnt even exist? I was fully behind the abandoned russian monuments last year, but tesla was a fitting winner with all his awesome legacies and inventions.

What can we say about terraforming? I have yet to read any constructive arguments for it, not actually seen anyone big it up or indeed seen anything remotely scientific that could help towards its idm credentials.

God damn im all hyped up about this and i really shouldnt care this much.

being dissapointed about the outcome of the most idm contest seems to be the most idm thing of all time.

Seriously if we're going to do things that don't exist we can go way more idm than terraforming. whoever voted for it should be castrated.

Maybe we could do a compilation for RonJerraforming, the process of using a giant space laser to carve planets into gigantic statues of a fat guy with a sketchy moustache & his wang out

incomplete skyscrapers has more potential, i think. but at this point it's gonna be tough to make the comp sound anything like the topic. what the fuck does an incomplete skyscraper sound like? angular, but jagged?
