Tascam DR-08 For Sampling

I think I want to get myself one of these for capturing samples around the house and while I'm out and about. I would be interested to hear if anything thinks this is a bad idea or has a better recommendation for the job at the same price range. Also a good reliable online store for it that will accept paypal.

I have the cheaper version (dr-03) and I think it's alright so I bet that one would be quite fine for casual sampling. If you had to throw one at a rabid chipmunk as protection it would probably laugh at you, they are ridiculously light and fragile feeling.

I can deal with that.
