it sounds like they are playing mostly electro dubstep or whatever the fuck it's called; and from the videos look extremely uninspired so I might not even bother. There's even a video of one of them taking pictures of some lego sized toy dude on the stage while the track is playing? wtf

fuck i can remember the night now, the E was just kickin in the crowd was all feeling it, you could just *tell* the whole place was rolling balls! lol! so everyone just started getting drenched in sweat like you wouldn't believe, let me tell you i've never seen a crowd go this wild before.... fuck it gives me chills just writing about it. Luckily someone recorded a video of the best part of the show here

Whether it comes to seeing them live, buying their releases, or just listening to them in general, this is my sole piece of advice: choose The Chemical Brothers instead.

I saw them in 97 or 98. I was into them and that style then but haven't cared at all since shortly after. I enjoyed the show though. If you're into their style you'd probably enjoy it.

Yeah I wouldn't completely write it off, I'm sure they have enough experience to throw a decent set, likely (well, hopefully) on a good soundsystem. Friend saw them couple years ago and said it was great, but she's only somewhat into popular EDM. Bet their live show now isn't far off from say Pretty Lights or Skrillex...tread cautiously in regards to expectations and cost is all I'd say.
