Dubsteppy IDM

I need more of this sort of sound. There is only a small handful of artists doing stuff I would consider Dubsteppy IDM. For example:

Hecq:

Roel Funcken:

And to a lesser extent Ital Tek:

List me some good IDM/Dubstep stuff. I need more.

again, i don't really hate skrillex as much as i hate the people that think that sort of music has any sort of integrity. i try to be open minded, and a lot of the time i employ a "well, each to his/her own" attitude towards personal preferences such as music taste and who knows, maybe it is original in its own way, sorta like a drawing by an autistic kid.

Boxcutter / Barry Lynn. and wAgAwAgA all the way.

some of Raime's stuff has a post industrial idm vibe to it, not really glitchy at all

at the current moment i'm pretty much an anti fan of anything resembling a wobble rhythm no matter glitched out and technically proficient it is. I think Roel / Funckarma is probably the only one i can stomach because his shit is really funky and interesting. I'm happy to see even Loops Haunt has already moved on from that to weirder more psychedelic textures and basslines

edit: if you can handle the wobble sound, i'd recommend checking out Bass Clef as well. Besides Boxcutter he was one of the earliest 'dubstep' musicians mixing IDM glitchery with the genre

the tapage and meander album on ad noiseum is pretty good. Called "etched in salt". Maybe slightly more dub than needed though.

The early funckarma stuff was way more idm, i have a couple of 12s

Too late for the edit:

Funcken is pushing it though. It's dubstep without being dubstep. At least, I've got to dig a little to hear any, if any, of those cliches which would fit the label dubstep.

I'm hardly a closed minded nun. Remember, I'm on a fucking IDM forum.... an IDM forum.. Think about that for a second before claiming people are closed minded nuns.
