Everybody who is in serious video production!

This is huge.The best thing happened since the beginning of the evolution started with nikons d90.

How does Indiana Jones figure into this exactly?

After this I listened to geogaddi and I didn't like it, I was quite vomitting at some tracks, I realized they were too crazy for my ears, they took too much acid to play music I stupidly thought (cliché of psyché music) But I knew this album was a kind of big forest where I just wasn't able to go inside.

I was in US tjis summer, and eat in KFC. FUCK That's the worst thing i've ever eaten. The flesh simply doesn't cleave to the bones. Battery ferming. And then, foie gras is banned from NY state, because it's considered as ill-treat. IT'S NOT. KFC is tourist ill-treat. YOU POISONERS! Two hours after being to KFC, i stopped in a amsih little town barf all that KFC shit out. Nice work!

 

So i hope this woman is not like kfc chicken, otherwise she'll be pulled to pieces.

Yeah I thought it was going to be more expensive. Really makes me want to save up for one and start making short films. I've always wanted to shoot anything with high quality film, this is the next best thing with 20 times the convenience and pricing.

How does it compare stats wise to say something like a Canon 5d mkIII (erm, ignoring the recent light issues !) running Magic Lantern ?

It features a C-MOS sensor, so your guess is likely correct.

 

I think this is good news, but it's not revolutionary...yet.

 

Until the rolling shutter issue is resolved, I'm done with buying any of these cameras.

What I mean by that is while this brings a great camera at an affordable price to many filmmakers that otherwise wouldn't be able to afford a camera with similar capabilities, it doesn't mean what they produce will instantly be better because of it.

it sets a standard video quality higher, that's what improves, as more tech that becomes readily available the image quality is no longer what differentiates good and bad video, but rather the content... truth is, as it's been said above it's much easier to get a good looking image than to make good content, even OK content...excited to try one out though....imagine they will update a new model to 4k standard at somepoint
